1. General Provisions:Generelle Forhold
These terms and conditions outline the general principles regarding table reservations, menu selection, beverages, billing, number of guests, and obligations – divided into general provisions, rules for reservations, terms for larger groups, special days, etc. Please read the terms and conditions thoroughly to align expectations and avoid any misunderstandings – and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Busy situations may occur, which can result in waiting times, although we of course do everything we can to avoid such scenarios. Enjoy the company – and we’ll be with you as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we are in a time when we cannot always be optimally staffed, especially when many guests wish to arrive around the same time. We therefore ask for your understanding and acceptance of these situations, and that some waiting time may occur. We hope to make it all worthwhile with our lovely venue, friendly staff, and delicious food.
We are happy to accommodate special dietary needs. We gladly assist with children’s menus, vegetarian dishes, and other special requests, as long as it is reasonably possible for us to do so.
Generally, we are unfortunately unable to offer vegan menus, and there may be other requests we cannot accommodate – as a rule, we do not adjust our plating or menu compositions.
Regarding parking: Paid parking is available in front of the restaurant. Parking is reserved for restaurant guests only. Use the EasyPark app with area number 8743 – Torvegade 79 will appear – and then simply set the parking time.
Please note that handicap permits cannot be used for parking in this area.
We are unfortunately experiencing an increasing trend of guests not showing up for their reservations or cancelling very late. In some cases, it may therefore be necessary to charge a fee for late cancellations or no-shows. See more about this under section 5 below.
Card Information When Booking:
To guarantee your reservation, Ravelinen requires your payment card details. These must be provided when booking via our reservation system.
Your card information is securely stored by the third-party provider Nets, and Ravelinen does not have direct access to the data. The card details are automatically deleted after your visit.
Dankort, Visa, and Mastercard are accepted. Unfortunately American Express can’t be used.
Payment can be made with all common cards – including American Express. Payments made with Dankort and personal credit cards are free of charge, while corporate credit cards and foreign credit cards incur a 1.99% surcharge. This is due to similar fees charged to us by the card providers for corporate and foreign credit cards. We therefore encourage payment with Dankort, personal credit cards, or cash to avoid additional charges.

We expect that beverages will be ordered as needed on the day and settled together with the food. Unfortunately, individual billing is not possible – but we’re happy to split the bill across multiple tables if needed.
3.1 8–11 Guests
To avoid extended waiting times for you and other guests, we ask that you choose a relatively uniform menu. Children and vegetarians are, of course, exempt. For lunch, one of our delightful cold platters could be ideal, offering a variety of tastes. Alternatively, you may choose up to two different dishes per round of service. For example, if you select three rounds of service, you may choose two different dishes for each round.

3.2 12 Guests or More
For larger groups, a uniform menu must be selected in advance to avoid unnecessary delays. Unfortunately, we cannot offer alternatives.
Regarding beverages, we ask that a general or group order be placed for the table(s) to avoid delays. Individual orders are generally not possible, but we will do our best to accommodate special needs. Beverages are billed together with the food. Individual billing is not possible – but we’re happy to split the bill across multiple tables if needed.
3.3 Especially Popular Days
On particularly busy days, a limited menu will be offered to avoid delays. Special rules apply for reducing guest numbers or cancellations, as outlined in section 5.3 below.
We will inform you if your booking falls on such a day and note this in your booking confirmation.
4. Adjusting the Number of Guests:
If there are changes to the number of guests, time, or menu, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make adjustments. Otherwise, we will adhere to the original agreement and the general cancellation rules below.
4.1 More Guests
If your party grows beyond the agreed number, we will try to accommodate, but this cannot be guaranteed, and we reserve the right to decline the request.
4.2 Fewer Guests
For reductions in guest numbers, please refer to section 5 below.
5. No-Show / Late Cancellation:
Unfortunately, we are seeing an increasing trend of guests not showing up or cancelling very late. In some cases, we may need to charge a fee for late cancellations or no-shows. Details are provided below.
5.1 1–11 Guests
If the number of guests is reduced less than 48 hours before the reservation time, or in case of no-show, a fee of DKK 200 per reserved guest will be charged, as we have planned based on the original booking.
5.2 12 Guests or More
For parties of 12 or more, special terms apply for reducing guest numbers, cancellations, or no-shows. This is necessary to allow Ravelinen to plan accordingly for larger groups.

Less than 5 days before the reservation or full cancellation: 100% of the full menu price per cancelled guest.

Unless otherwise agreed in the booking confirmation, the menu price used for these charges will be DKK 600 per guest.
The above amounts will be charged to the payment card provided during booking.
5.3 Especially Popular Days
On certain days of the year, dining out is especially popular, making the restaurant vulnerable to late cancellations and no-shows – for example, during Christmas parties.
If the number of guests is reduced or the booking is cancelled less than 14 days before the event, we will ask for 100% of the full cover price for the cancelled guests.
There is a minimum cover price of DKK 600 per guest.
6. If Accidents Happen:
If an accident occurs and someone at the table damages tableware or other items beyond reasonable use, the cost will be added to the bill. A cleaning fee of DKK 500 will be charged if someone vomits and cleanup is required. We hope you’ll help ensure this doesn’t happen, but the guest who made the reservation is reasonably responsible for the behavior of others at the table.
If external restrictions are imposed that affect parts of a previously agreed arrangement, we will do our best to adjust the agreement so the event can still be held in the best possible way.
