A Christmas lunch beyond the ordinary!

At Ravelinen in Christianshavn, you can get the city’s best Christmas lunch made from scratch with fresh ingredients – nothing is skimped on. And it’s all served by sweet waiters who want the best for you!

We are located 200 meters from Christianshavns Torv with the Metro, so take the year’s shortest trip to idyllic surroundings and a view of the water. We have room for 360 guests and are ready to take good care of you 🙂

No queuing!

When you walk in the door with us, you will be greeted by our hostesses, who will make sure to show you to your table. And there will be staff ready to receive your outerwear, so you don’t have to queue for the cloakroom.

Our delicious Christmas food is served continuously at the table on smaller platters, so you can concentrate on being with your colleagues and have a wonderful experience. Drinks are also served at the table, so you can concentrate on the good stories that need to be told 🙂

Opening hours!

It all starts at 6.30 PM and then the event runs until 2.00 AM, when we say thank you for tonight. Unfortunately, we are unable to open the doors earlier than immediately before due to a number of lunch guests who also need to finish in the right way.

And we will of course always be aware of complying with all the official requirements that may be in place at that time – and there will always be plenty of hand sanitizer placed in all central locations.

Polish your dancing shoes

When the rice pudding is served, our fantastically assembled house orchestra starts up. With experienced musicians from Christopher, Gulddreng, Peter AG, Wafande & Tamra Rosanes, among others, led by Morten Wittrock.

After the band, control of the dance floor will be taken over by our popular DJ, who will play popular dance music from the last 30 years for the rest of the evening.

In other words, the setting is more than ready. Just bring it on 🙂

Dates

The events will take place on Fridays the 20st of Nov + 27th of Nov. + 4th of Dec. + 11th of Dec. 2026.
On these days, it will only be this setup that takes place in the evening.

The delicious Christmas menu:

  • The Christiansø Girl’s marinated herring with curry salad and smiling egg
  • The Christiansø Girl’s spiced herring and airy crème fraîche with horseradish
  • Fried fillet of flounder with sauce remoulade and lemon
  • Chicken salad of Rokkedahl chicken with cress and chicken skin chips
  • The Butcher’s Christmas sausage with apple and thyme
  • Confit of Berberi duck leg with raw-pickled cranberries
  • Danish pork rib roast with crispy crackling and pickled red cabbage
  • Ris a la mande with cherry sauce and sugar roasted almonds

There will also be centrally placed bowls and platters with a selection of fresh fruit for free use.

After the Christmas dinner, coffee/tea is served at the table in connection with the dessert.

Throughout the Christmas lunch event, beer, wine and water are served ad libitum, i.e. red and white wine, regular pilsner, Tuborg Christmas beer and all kinds of regular soft drinks.

Price per person for Friday with cloakroom, delicious Christmas menu incl. coffee, live band, DJ and all mentioned drinks ad libitum until 02.00: 1,598 kr. incl. VAT. Minimum 8 covers.
– however, a discount of 300 kr. per cover if the dates 20th Nov. are chosen.
– however, a discount of 150 kr. per cover if the dates 27th Nov. or 11th Dec. are chosen.

Practical information:

  • Our garden is transformed into a heated conservatory with a view of the water and the old ramparts.
  • Parking is available in front of the restaurant for a fee. Parking is reserved for restaurant guests only. Therefore, use your EasyPark app with area no. 8743 and Torvegade 79 will appear – and then set the parking time otherwise.
    Please note that disability signs in connection with parking cannot be used.
  • When you arrive, we are ready to take your outerwear. You can pick up your outerwear in the staffed cloakroom when you finish the evening. We do not guarantee for any lost contents or jacket. And we cannot hand out clothes without a cloakroom tag.
  • In terms of placement, you can be placed in our conservatory or in one of our 2 fine pavilions – unfortunately we cannot guarantee placement.
  • The Christmas food is served at the table and comes on smaller platters, so you can stay at the table and don’t have to get up to get food. And in this way, the food is also served freshly prepared.
  • The music is played in our conservatory, so if you are placed in one of our pavilions, you just have to go out to the music on the dance floor in the conservatory.
  • The prices mentioned include VAT, tablecloths, napkins, general Christmas decorations, live music and DJ.
  • All the above prices are inclusive of VAT.

Reservation fee and finances:

  • Upon reservation, a confirmation will be sent immediately after the reservation and a reservation fee of DKK 600 per ordered cover will be charged, which will be deducted from the final accounts.
  • When paying, the booking number is written, so that we can see which reservation the payment relates to.
  • Our bank details are: Nykredit Reg: 8117 Account: 4518297
  • If the final number is less than ordered until 1 October, 50% of the deposit for the fewer number of covers will be refunded.
  • If the final number is less than ordered later than 19 days before settlement, 50% of the full price per person will be charged for the fewer number of covers.
  • If the final number is less than ordered later than 12 days before settlement, 75% of the full price per person will be charged for the fewer number of covers.
  • If the final number is less than ordered later than 5 days before settlement, the full price per person will be charged for the fewer number of covers.
  • If you are more than expected, we will of course try to arrange extra seats, but this cannot be guaranteed, as the days are typically sold out and we sell the seats we have.
  • The above should be regarded as a confirmation, which, if not cancelled immediately after receipt, will be regarded as valid.
  • We would very much like you to pay the remaining part of the price per person no later than 3 days before the event.
  • Any additional drinks used on the evening can be settled on the evening.
  • If the bill has to be forwarded, there will be an invoice fee of DKK 50.
