Christmas Lunch Beyond the Ordinary!
At Ravelinen, you get the city’s best Christmas party, with all the traditional classics made from scratch with fresh ingredients. The delights are served by friendly waiters who strive to give you the best experience.
We are located 200 meters from Christianshavns Torv with metro access, so take the shortest trip of the year to idyllic surroundings with a lovely view of the water. We can accommodate 360 guests and are set to take good care of you.
No Standing in Line
When you arrive you will be greeted by our hostesses, who will show you to your table. Staff will be ready to take your coats, so you don’t have to stand in line at the cloakroom.
Our delicious Christmas food is served continuously at the table on smaller platters, and drinks are served at the tables. This way, you can focus on enjoying the company of your friends and/or colleagues and the great stories that need to be told.
Opening Hours
The Christmas party begins at 6:30 PM, and runs until 2:00 AM, when we say goodnight. Unfortunately, we cannot open the doors earlier due to lunch guests who also need to be properly attended to.
We will, of course, always be mindful of complying with any government regulations at the time – and there will always be plenty of hand sanitizer placed at all central locations.
Polish Your Dancing Shoes
When the rice pudding has been served, our amazing house band, featuring seasoned musicians who have played with Christopher, Gulddreng, Peter AG, Wafande & Tamra Rosanes – led by Morten Wittrock – will start. After the band, our popular DJ will take over the dance floor, playing popular dance music from the last 30 years for the rest of the evening.
Dates
We hold Christmas parties on the following Fridays in 2026: 20th Nov, 27th Nov, 4th Dec and 12th Dec. On these days, the restaurant will only have this setup in the evening.

Pickled Christiansø Pigen herring with curry salad and medium boiled egg
Spiced Christiansø Pigen herring with airy crème fraiche with horseradish
Breaded and fried fillet of flounder with sauce remoulade
Chicken salad of Rokkedahl chicken with cress and chicken skin chips
The butcher’s own Christmas sausage with apple and thyme
Confit French Barbary duck legs with raw pickled lingonberries
Danish pork rib roast with crispy crackling and pickled red cabbage
Ris a la mande with cherry sauce and sugar roasted almonds
Coffee/Tea
There will also be centrally placed bowls and platters with a selection of fresh fruit for free use.
Throughout the Christmas lunch event, beer, wine, and water are served ad libitum, including red and white wine, regular pilsner, Tuborg Christmas beer, and all kinds of regular soft drinks.
Cover price for Friday with wardrobe, lovely Christmas menu incl. coffee, live band, DJ and all mentioned drinks ad libitum until 02:00: 1,598 kr. incl. VAT. Minimum 8 covers.
– however, a discount of 300 dkr per cover if the dates are chosen on 20 Nov.

Practical Information
Our garden will be transformed into a heated conservatory with a view of the water and the old fortifications.
Parking is available in front of the restaurant for a fee. Parking in front of Ravelinen is reserved for restaurant guests only. Therefore, use your EasyPark app with area number 8743, and Torvegade 79 will appear. Please note that handicap permits cannot be used for parking in this area.
When the evening ends, you can collect your coat from the staffed cloakroom. We do not guarantee against any lost items or coats, and we cannot hand out coats without a cloakroom ticket.
You may be seated in our conservatory or in one of our two fine pavilions – unfortunately, we cannot guarantee a specific seating arrangement.
The Christmas food is served at the table on smaller platters, so you can stay at the table and not have to get up to fetch food. This way, the food is also served freshly plated.
The music will be played in our conservatory, so if you are seated in one of our pavilions, you will need to step out to the music and dance floor in the conservatory.
Included in the price are tablecloths, napkins, regular Christmas decorations, live music, and a DJ. All the above prices include VAT.
Reservation Fee and Economy
Immediately after the reservation, a confirmation will be sent, and a reservation fee of 600 dk per ordered cover will be charged. This fee will be deducted from the final bill.
If the table reservation is not canceled immediately after booking, the confirmation will be considered valid. When making the payment, note the booking number so we can see which reservation the payment concerns.

Cancellation Fees
Until October 1st: 50% of the deposit for the fewer covers will be charged.
In addition our standard cancellation fees apply:
Less than 14 days before the event: 50% of the full cover price for the canceled covers.
Less than 8 days before the event: 75% of the full cover price for the canceled covers.
Less than 5 days before the event: 100% of the full cover price for the canceled covers.
If you become more guests than expected, we will, of course, try to arrange extra seats, but we cannot guarantee anything as these evenings typically sell out.
We would very much like you to settle the remaining cover price no later than three days before the event.
Any additional drinks ordered on the evening can be settled on the evening.
If the bill needs to be sent afterward, there will be an invoice fee of 50 dk.
