Parties

Ravelinen’s large garden with the beautiful view over the water around Christianshavn – just 200 meters from the metro – is ideal for parties, whether you have invited family from near and far for a confirmation or a small birthday for close friends. 

The garden can be covered by large awnings at the push of a button, making it suitable for both warm summer days and cool evenings that the Danish weather also offers. In our two pavilions, there are cozy indoor surroundings. Our settings are beautiful and informal, and they can accommodate up to 400 guests.

Our menu suggestions are served at the table on small platters in several rounds. This way, guests get several dishes to choose from and maintain the cozy dinner atmosphere as if dining at home. Note that the menu suggestions must be ordered for at least 25 covers.

There may be adjustments to the individual dishes on the menu according to seasonal availability and ingredients in the kitchen.

Menu Suggestion 1


Starter

• Panfried cauliflower, hand-peeled shrimps, sauce hollandaise and almonds

Main Courses
• Roasted Rokkedahl chickens with lemon thyme
• Roast of beef cuvette with garlic and rosemary
• Broccoli salad with pancetta bacon, apple, red onion and vinaigrette
• Salt-baked celery with pesto, pickled fennel and browned butter crumble
• Small roasted potatoes with fried parsley and sea salt
• Mild Madagascar pepper sauce

Desserts
• Lemon fromage with honey roasted walnuts and baked white chocolate
• Apple compot, macaroons, crunchy hazelnut, whipped cream and blackcurrant

Starter
• Patty shell with Rokkedahl chicken in creamy sauce and crispy crudité

Main Courses
• Faroese salmon baked with herbs and hollandaise sauce
• Roast beef bavette marinated in piment d’espelette and garlic
• Confit pointed cabbage with artichoke cream, hazelnuts and Julsø cheese
• Baked beetroot with fresh cheese, roasted pumpkin seeds and watercress
• Creamed potatoes with garlic and nutmeg
• Red wine sauce with shallots and thyme

Desserts
• Trifli with berries, vanilla cream, macaroons, crunchy hazelnut and whipped cream
• Intense chocolate mousse with fillet of citrus fruits and baked white chocolate

• Shrimp cocktail of hand-peeled shrimp with semidried tomatoes and croutons
• Tartare of hand-cut beef fillet, herbal mayonnaise and potato chips

Main Courses
• Souffle stuffed guinea fowl breast with parsley and garlic
• Veal tenderloin marinated in olive oil, thyme and our own honey
• Tomato salad with a variety of tomatoes, Danish buratta cheese and salsa verde
• Grilled squash and red pepper with Romanesco dressing
• Pommes Anna with duck fat and Julsø cheese
• Homemade bearnaise sauce

Desserts
• Cheesecake with lime, blackcurrant compote and roasted hazelnuts
• Rich chocolate cake with raspberry foam and baked white chocolate

Dinner Arrangement

Must be chosen by the entire party

• A glass of white wine – poured before the starter is served.
• 1/2 bottle of red wine – poured into glasses before the main course and the rest placed on the table in bottles.

Late-night snack
• For example, tartlets with chicken, roast pork sandwich with everything, or two types of grilled butcher’s sausage with the usual accompaniments.
• Late-night snack can only be ordered for all covers.

Practical information
• White tablecloths, cloth napkins, and small flower decorations are included.
• Extra open bar per hour: +80 kr. per starting guest (latest until 2:00 AM)
• Schnapps and shots are not included in the open bar.
• Children under 12 years eat from the menu at half cover price.
• Children under 3 years have no cover price.
• Upon confirmation of the arrangement, we ask for a deposit of 10% of the expected consumption.

Group Principles

• If the reservation is for more than 7 guests, a relatively uniform menu must be chosen. 
• For lunch, we suggest a variant of our cold tables for groups, where you get to taste a bit of everything and the menu is served at the table in several rounds. Alternatively, choose up to 3 different dishes for each serving. 
• For dinner, only 2 dishes can be chosen in each category of starter, main course, and dessert. 
• This rule is to avoid unnecessary waiting time for you and other guests. Children and vegetarians are of course exempt. 
• For more than 12 guests, the same menu must be chosen for all, and the menu must be ordered at least 7 days before the event. 
• The rules must be adhered to, and unfortunately, we must decline groups on the day that cannot respect the rules. 
• We expect groups to order beverages on the day as needed, which will be settled together with the food at the end of the event. Unfortunately, individual payments cannot be made. 
• For changes to the number of guests, times, or menu, please let us know as soon as you know, so we can make adjustments. Otherwise, we will adhere to the agreement made. 
• Unless otherwise agreed, the following rules apply: • If the final number is less than ordered later than 14 days before, 50% of the full cover price for the fewer covers will be charged. 
• If the final number is less than ordered later than 8 days before, 75% of the full cover price for the fewer covers will be charged. 
• If the final number is less than ordered later than 5 days before, the full cover price for the fewer covers will be charged. 
• A cover price for lunch is calculated at 500 DKK and for dinner at 600 DKK. 
• On busy days, we may therefore ask for a card number and its expiration date, which can be charged a fee in case you do not show up for your agreed reservation. 
• Remember that the reservation is legally binding, and we expect that we have an agreement.
