In short, Restaurant Ravelinen has a large, beautiful garden overlooking the water around Christianshavn – and is 200 meters from Christianshavns Torv – a small oasis in the middle of the city.
The garden can be covered by large awnings at the touch of a button, and our two pavilions offer cozy indoor settings. Beautiful and informal surroundings with a view of the water – right in the center and with room for 400 guests.
Our menu suggestions are menus served at the table on small platters in several courses. This means you get several dishes to choose from as a guest, and it’s a cozy way to eat together – just like at home. And the whole menu is served.
Adjustments to individual dishes on the menu may occur based on seasonal availability and ingredients in the kitchen.
Regarding parking, you can park in front of the restaurant for a fee. Parking is reserved for restaurant guests only. Therefore, use your EasyPark app with area code 8743 and Torvegade 79 will appear – and then set the parking time.Please note that disability signs in connection with parking cannot be used.

Principles for groups
- If the reservation is for more than 7 guests, you will have to choose a relatively similar menu.
- For lunch, we suggest a variant of our cold tables for groups, where you get to taste a little of each and where the menu is served at the table in several courses. Alternatively, choose between max. 3 different dishes for each serving.
- For the evening, you can only choose between 2 dishes in each category of appetizer, main course and dessert.
- This rule is to avoid unnecessary waiting time for you and other guests. Children and vegetarians are of course exempt
- For more than 12 guests, the same menu must be chosen for everyone and the menu must be ordered at least 7 days before the event.
- The rules have to be followed and we unfortunately have to say no on the day to groups who cannot respect the rules.
- We expect drinks for groups to be ordered on the day as needed, which will be settled together with the food at the end of the event. Unfortunately, individual settlements are not possible.
- If there are changes to the number, times or menu, please let us know as soon as you know, if we are to correct something. Otherwise, we will adhere to the agreement that has been made.
- Unless otherwise agreed, the following rules apply:
- – if the final number is less than ordered later than 19 days before, 50% of the full price per person will be charged for the fewer covers.
- – if the final number is less than ordered later than 12 days before, 75% of the full price per person will be charged for the fewer covers.
- – if the final number is less than ordered later than 5 days before, the full price per person will be charged for the fewer covers.
- A price per person for lunch is calculated at 500 kr. and for dinner 600 kr.
- On busy days, we may therefore ask for a card number and its expiry date, which can be charged a fee in the event that you do not show up for your agreed reservation.
- Remember that the reservation is legally binding and we expect that we have an agreement.
