During peak busy periods waiting times may occur. We do everything to avoid this and strive to make up for it with our cozy place, sweet waiters, and delicious food. Enjoy the company – we will be there as quickly as possible. 

We are very happy to accommodate special dietary needs. We are happy to help with children’s menus, vegetarian food, and other special needs, as long as it is possible for us within reason. Generally, we unfortunately cannot offer vegan menus, and other conditions we may not be able to accommodate can occur. 

Adjustments to individual dishes in the menu proposals can occur according to seasonal availability. 

When you place an order, please read the confirmation carefully to avoid any misunderstandings and feel free to get back to us with any questions. 

There may be price adjustments in comparison to the time of booking if we experience cost developments beyond the expectable.

All prices include VAT and service.

Parking
You can now park in front of the restaurant for a fee. Parking is reserved exclusively for the restaurant’s guests. Therefore, use your EasyPark app with area number 8743, and Torvegade 79 will appear – then just set the parking time. Please note that handicap permits cannot be used for parking in this area. To guarantee your reservation, Ravelinen requires your credit card information. This is due to an unfortunately increasing tendency of table reservations not being honored. No amount will be charged to your card in advance, but a fee of 200 DKK per guest will be charged in case of no-show or cancellation of the table less than 48 hours before the expected arrival. 

If the number of guests is reduced later than 48 hours before arrival, a fee will also generally be charged for the number of covers reduced, as we have planned according to the original order. We cannot necessarily adjust the number of seats on the day. Please give us the opportunity to confirm or decline by adjusting the number of guests before arrival. 

For changes in the number of guests, times, or menu, please let us know as soon as possible if we need to make any adjustments. Otherwise, we will adhere to the agreed arrangement and the general cancellation rules below. 

Remember that both parties are bound by a reservation according to industry rules. These are our business terms and therefore part of the agreement for both parties. Of course, remember to respond with an objection if you cannot accept our business terms. 

General principles regarding menu selection, drinks, billing, number of guests, and obligations – see the bottom of the confirmation.

Principles – for reservations for 8-11 guests
To minimize waiting time for you and other guests, we ask you to choose a relatively similar menu. Children and vegetarians are, of course, exempt. 

For lunch, it could be one of our lovely cold platters, where you get to taste a bit of everything. Alternatively, a maximum of two different dishes per serving round. That is, if you choose three rounds of servings at the table, two different dishes can be ordered per round. 

For dinner, you can choose between two starters and two main courses. Cheese and desserts can be ordered as wished on the evening. 

Drinks with the meal are ordered as needed on the day and billed together with the meal. Unfortunately, it is not possible to bill individually.

Principles – for reservations for 12 guests or more
The entire table orders the same menu to minimize waiting time for you and other guests.

Drinks are ordered via general orders to the table(s) to minimize waiting time for you and other guests. 

Generally, it is not possible to make individual orders, but we are very happy to try to accommodate special needs. 

Drinks are billed in total with the meal. Unfortunately, it is not possible to bill individually, but we are happy to help split the bill into separate tables if needed. 

For cancellations or reductions in the number of guests, the following fees apply: 

Less than 14 days before the event: 50% of the full cover price for the canceled covers.
Less than 8 days before the event: 75% of the full cover price for the canceled covers.
Less than 5 days before the event: 100% of the full cover price for the canceled covers. 

If no other cover price is agreed in the confirmation, we base it on a cover price of 500 DKK for lunch and 600 DKK for dinner. If you need more covers than what originally was agreed, we will, of course, try to accommodate the extra covers, but we cannot guarantee it and reserve the right to decline.

General principles
If an accident should occur and someone at the table damages service or anything else beyond what’s reasonable, this will be added to the bill. 

Likewise, we impose a fee of 500 DKK if we need to clean up after someone who has become unwell. 

It will be the host’s responsibility to reasonably keep track of the other guests at the table(s). 

Should a situation arise where we are externally imposed restrictions that may change parts of an otherwise agreed arrangement, we will, of course, always try to compensate in our agreement so that the event can still be held, and you get value for the agreed cover price. 

Unfortunately, it is not always possible to move an event without costs, depending on how early the request for relocation is made. Unless otherwise agreed, we adhere to the general cancellation rules and the binding agreement made by both parties.

Our general conditions are prepared in accordance with HORESTA’s standard conditions for the restaurant industry.

Credit Cards
Your card information is securely stored by Nets, and Ravelinen does not have access to it. The information is automatically deleted after your visit.

Payments made with Dankort and personal credit cards are free of charge, while corporate credit cards and foreign credit cards incur a 3.2 % surcharge. This is due to similar fees charged to us by the card providers for corporate and foreign credit cards. We therefore encourage payment with Dankort, personal credit cards, or cash to avoid additional charges.
